Lortan Golf provides services beyond Golf Instruction, catering specifically to Companies who engage clients and prospective clients, using golf as a medium to market their brand or products.

participating in a golf day as a vendor or partner to the golf day sponsor

Inviting clients to a less formal business event, like Top Golf, Pop Stroke or a simple invitation to play a round of golf

Having actively organized, as well as played in dozens upon dozens of sponsored Golf Events and casual outings, both as a host and a participant/client, I have a unique perspective as to what actually works, and what could have worked at these events.

The Services -

  1. Golf Event Consultation Services - Most professional Marketing Organizations lack the insight/input of a golf professional familiar with the Golf Industry - a Company Marketing Department even less likely. The range of consultancy is dependent on the event or the requirement, matching the hospitality activities with brand and business goals.

  2. Golf Event services -

    1. Driving Range Instruction - most golfers, but not all, are open to the “free” swing tip that will magically transform their round. This service entails the Golf Professional to be available on the driving range/putting green/chipping area, for up to two hours before Tee-off time, to provide the participants with tips, pointers and general advice as required.

    2. Unique hole experience - a Pro Golfer is stationed at a particular hole, generally a short par 4 or par 5, to provide each golf group with the opportunity of a great tee-shot on that hole.

    3. Charity tie-ins

      Linking the above options and other activities to charity fund raising.

  3. Guest Speaker appearance at Company events/conferences - Golf is unique in it’s way of providing such intimate proximity and extended access to the people we want to influence. The objective is to create a positive perception during the golfing event, and to avoid behaviors that can create negative perceptions. The topics may include -

    1. basic golf rules

    2. golf etiquette

    3. employee on course behavior

    4. sales related objectives

    5. buyer/influencer expectations and behavior

    6. alcohol consumption

    Golf can be used as a great analogy to shape employee behaviours for other non-golf customer related activities.
